The Channel Partner Manager is responsible for the management of targeted key channel partner relationships and support throughout the sales process. This person will report directly to the Director of Channel Solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility is to consistently engage our Channel Partners in managing opportunities, driving revenue through partner development, and providing sales enablement to the partner and their sales teams. This translates to the following specific responsibilities:

  • Goal is to enable partner to lead with UbiStor through constant contact and increase proposal activity
  • Schedule regular onsite visits with channel partners to improve UbiStor’s visibility to the partner and educate them on our services to help them engage customers on our services.
  • Provide high-touch, joint sales support to assigned partners and align appropriate UbiStor and supplier resources to assist with sales process
  • Lead onsite and web based presentations for partners and end users as part of our sales process
  • Timely opportunity and pipeline management using UbiStor’s CRM tool that accurately represents sales stage, close date, channel partner sales contacts, POC%
  • Consistent use of CRM systems to track all partner engagement activities and expenses
  • Develop strong relationships with key partner executives, sales teams, and sales engineers
  • Provide input for the development of related sales and marketing material for partners and customers
  • Develop detailed understanding of UbiStor products and services

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Weekly site visit to named partner accounts
  • Bi-weekly pipeline review with key partner contacts
  • Coordinate continual training sessions with sales and technical teams
  • Annual sales kick-off meeting and strategy planning
  • Attain goal for customer meetings and demonstrations on weekly basis
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas (revenue and opportunities)
  • Achieve monthly pipeline goals

Preferred Skills

  • 4-7 years sales and channel sales experience
  • Experience selling technology, managed services, or cloud solutions
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office tools
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Bachelor’s degree
